Slightly retro, highly beautiful, our 'Kishu Ken - Brave Dog' Japanese print is part of Uki Uki's 'Happy Japan' set of artworks. Bursting with joy, they're vibrantly coloured and designed to make you smile.
The white Kishu descended from ancient, dogs who roamed the Japanese mountains. They were used for hunting boar and deer and considered a "memorial of nature." Our Kishu is proudly wearing his hunting armour but don't be fooled, Kishu are known to be affectionate and fiercely loyal.
Why not pair it with our devoted Shiba Inu poster print to keep each other company?
ps. The words 'ken' and 'inu' both mean dog in Japanese.
The print fits standard IKEA frames and are printed in the UK.
